Live from Kettler Capitals Iceplex, beat writer Katie Carrera takes your questions about the Capitals' first meeting of the season with the rival Pittsburgh Penguins.

What's wrong with the Capitals' power play? How can they be so talented and not score any goals on it?

Any word/observation from practice if they intend to (correctly in my opinion) keep Ovechkin down low on the PP and play a combo of Poti/Green/Carlson on the points? It seems that this is the best option in that it keeps you best scoring threat(Ovechkin) closer to the net, allows Carlson to take pressure off Green and lessens the potential for odd man/short handed breaks the other way. Have a Great Christmas Katie!! : ) -John

It seems to me that lately (during Crosby's scoring streak) he has been getting so many good looks at the net. Whether its a break-away or simple up-ice attack, defenders seem to be giving him TONS of space to shoot. Do the Caps have any plans to isolate Crosby much like every team seems to focus on isolating Ovie?

I'm not sold on Neuvirth. Why does he get the benefit of the doubt and to play again tonight against the Penguins?

Considering how the team has enigmatically handled disclosing injuries in the past, how does the team feel about HBO showing injuries?

Why aren't the Capitals being shown in a more positive light by HBO, like the Penguins? It seems as though so much about the Capitals is overly negative and dramatic while everything is perfect in Pittsburgh.

Knuble's speech on 24/7 last night showed some of what this team really needs, leadership. Is he like that all the time? Did you get the sense that it was a staged speech? How much does the rest of the team respect him?
